Trusted Raised Loft Boarding in Portsmouth
If you reside in Portsmouth and require expert, reliable Raised Loft Boarding, Extra Quotes Limited is your trusted local contractor. We understand the specific architectural styles and building structures common in the Portsmouth area, allowing us to provide perfectly tailored structural solutions.
Stop Wasting Your Attic Space
Did you know that up to 30% of your property's usable volume is hidden right above your ceiling? Most homeowners leave this space unused due to lack of safe access or fear of compressing their insulation. At ExtraQuotes, we specialise in the installation of highly advanced, BBA-approved raised loft boarding systems that transform dark, hazardous attics into expansive, fully accessible, and structurally sound storage areas.
The Dangers of DIY Boarding
Squashing insulation cuts its thermal efficiency by over 50%. It also traps rising moisture, creating interstitial condensation that rots your roof timbers from the inside out.
Our Raised Sub-Frame Solution
We build an engineered timber sub-frame, raising the new floor above the 270mm insulation line to ensure unrestricted airflow and completely protect your ceiling.
We finish the surface using interlocking, moisture-resistant P5 structural grade chipboard, creating a seamless and incredibly strong storage deck that fully complies with NHBC new-build warranties.
